Followed by numerous singles on Estereo, in 2001 Julian Bendall's Bah Samba
released their self-titled debut album, followed by the Latin Lounge Session and their
mixed album titled ‘Eclectica Volume 1’ in 2004. ‘Bah Samba 4’ (BKO) was released
in 2005, spawning soulful hits including ’Portuguese Love’, ‘Calma’ ft. Isabel
Fructuoso which went on to be remixed by Grammy Award winner Louie Vega.

In recent times Bah Samba have been performing with Jazz Legend Roy Ayers,
including Southport Weekender festivals among many others worldwide. As a result
they have released a joint single titled ‘Positive Vibe’ on 7 inch vinyl last year, which
will be getting a full digital release this year on Favouritizm complete with remixes. In
Summer 2009 Bah Samba made their debut on the Favouritizm label with the seasonal
smash ‘Live In The Summer’ feat. Tasita D’Mour (of Copyright, Kyoto & Sunlightsquare
fame) on vocals, along with remixes for DJ Meme, Andy Ward, The Super-Phonics and
Shake The Dog. The single gained huge support worldwide, peaking at No.2 twice on
the Traxsource Top 10 as well as finding a home on many compilations. The New
Single 'Don’t let them get you down' has received high acclaim.

In between releases Julian has been busy performing/recording and producing with
Ashley Beedle, Phil Asher, Kathy Brown, Stephanie Cooke, Andy Ward, DJ Kid Creole,
Anane Vega, BTSC and is currently working on forthcoming projects with restless soul,
inclusive of a live performance with them at Southport Weekender in May. Julian rarely
plays 'a dj set' as he only plays music across the board at special party's for close friends
and colleagues including shows for the Russian mafia in Russia, Brasil, Bulgaria and
Brighton.
