The descendent of Creole origin from the beautiful Seychelles Islands is one of the
brightest young names on the UK’s underground deep & soulful scene. He has collected
and played house music since the age of fourteen, maturing into a well travelled dj,
producer and record label owner.

After playing out for a number of years his first major residency was for the prestigious
Ministry of Sound Red Sea back in 2006 and then moving back home onto a brief but
enjoyable time with Dave Bonner at Stereo Sushi. There he helped out with marketing
and promotion for album releases and events in the midlands and north as well as
resident djing duties. Since then he has played in many events and cities around the
globe such as a one year residency at State Ultra, USA and also in NYC, Boston,
Slovenia, Spain, Greece, Lithuania, Portugal and more.

With a strong view of keeping the underground music scene at the forefront of the
younger generation, the KiD does a weekly 3 hour mix show on Birmingham based
89.1 FM Big City Radio featuring deep, soulful, tech, nu-jazz, samba, bossa, latin
and classic house music.

Since buying his first house record in the mid 90’s he has never looked back
and taken it upon himself to put his heart and soul into his music. He has released
successful records and remixes with Jay Grooves under their Soul Free Productions
partnership which were respectfully supported and charted by Tony Humphries and
Soul Heaven resident Andy Ward. A year later in 2010 he then decided to take the next
step off the back of these successful releases launching his independent record label
Soul Free Records. The first three releases coming from DeepCitySoul, Julian Bendall
and the third beign Meu Bah Samba, which was a live mix compilation from the KiD
comprising of current & classic Bah Samba music featuring remixes from Louie Vega,
Quentin Harris, Phil Asher, Carlos Mena and more. New production projects with Soul
Renegades, DJN Project, Brazilian Soul Crew, Ricky Reid & Julian Bendall were also
launched at the beginning of 2010 with him spending most of his studio time supplying
drum programming for future remixes, edits and album work using different guises.
